Hard Sporadic Shifting, No Codes
Hey everyone,
We have a 2015 F350 6,7 with 200k miles. It has suddenly started shifting hard, often skip 3rd, 4rth and 5th, goes to 6 and then hard shifts down to 1st where it stays. Tho I had no codes, I thought it was the speed sensors so I replaced both the input and out put sensors, changed fluid and filter, and have the same problem. It has been deleted for several years but this is the first time we have had this issue. It is throwing P04DB... crankcase ventilation so I know we need to fix that, but I have not found any link that the particular code would cause this shifting issue. there was no metal in tranny, just normal residue. The transmission seems to shift normal when first started out, but as temp increases the shifting gets worse. I did check the each solonoid when I had the valve body off, by jumping the to the battery to see if they "clicked" some were a little stronger than others but they all clicked.
