Has anyone installed the Autometer Guage Pod that mounts on top of (over) the stock instrument panel in a super duty? It has two guage pods, one on each side and is supposed to fit over the stock instrument cluster? They have them over at Geno's Garage. I haven't been able to find any pics of it installed with guages in it. I'm really interested in this pod but I want to see it installed because I'm wondering if it will block any of the stock instruments. Also looking at the westach dual guages to go in it, if anyone has any comments on those...
I remeber that their is someone here that runs that pod, I even remeber him posting pics, but for the life of me I can't remeber who it is. Hopefully they will see this and help you out.
[updated:LAST EDITED ON 07-Jan-03 AT 05:17 PM (EST)]Any idea if the Autometer Bezel Gauge pod can be used with the single-gauge Steering column pod (also from Autometer - Part# 15010)? Will the Steering column pod block the left-hand gauge?
I hadnt really thought of the instrument cluster kit. I put the A-Pillar gauge pods in but after seeing the install thread, it seems pretty straight forward.
One concern I have is looking down at the dash and trying to read that small gauge. I had the same concern with the apillar install but after I was done, it worked fine since it was closer to eye level and I didnt have to take my eyes off the road....
