I am currently looking at a 2002 F-350SD 4x4 SRW and on the paperwork it says it has a "camper package". I've looked at spec sheets, etc. but haven't seen any details. Just what does the camper package include? Thanks for any info!
[updated:LAST EDITED ON 07-Jan-03 AT 00:10 AM (EST)]I will be corected if I am wrong but I beleive it is front and rear sway bar and the certification to haul a camper. Not sure what else I forgot
I also think they use the heavier front springs. Not sure if they are the same as in the snow plow package, but I am sure they are upgraded anyway. The shocks may also be a little heavier also. Also, I think they throw in a single leaf "helper" spring in the rear as well.
i believe the camper package has to do with a slide in camper certification and a rear sway bar. As far as I know, all of the superduty truck come standard with a tow package.
[updated:LAST EDITED ON 07-Jan-03 AT 10:47 AM (EST)]The camper package gives you the maximum springs (f&r - if your other mods don't already have you at max) adds the rear sway bar and I believe the others are correct about the rear helper spring.
