Hey guys so I have a 94 f150 5.0 2-wd love the truck I saved it from the scrap yard when a dummy thought he had killed it but turned out to need a radiator and a new oil pan seal and here we are 5 years later anyway when it's below 32 and the colder it is the worse this problem gets when I go to start it in the morning it will start but then immediately bogs out if I don't hit the gas and when it's real cold the first few times even hitting the gas it'll bog right out now yesterday it seemed to freeze up on me while I was driving which has never happened now it was 10 degrees out yesterday and I was doing about 50 when it died out on me any ideas what could be causing this?! It doesn't get tht cold normally where I live but obviously once in a while it can get there so any help would be much appreciated
Have you checked for Key On Engine Off Fault (KOEO) fault codes? It could be the coolant temperature sensor is reading colder than what it actually is and over fueling the engine. Having said that do not start replacing parts without testing checking for codes and testing any parts first.
True story, check the fuel pressure check the codes
Maybe check a few basics, like the condition of the cap and rotor and the spark plugs
Tuned up last when?
Take a sample of the gas
