Hello Ford Community, I'm in need of some information. I have a 2001 F150 4.6 V8 Triton 4x4 and would like to do an interior swap, does anyone know if Expedition and Navigator seats fit like the center console, and if so what yeas. I found a 2003 Expedition with some very nice seats. Does anyone know if this bolt pattern will match?

I wouldn’t bet money on that being the case. That’s the next generation platform.

You will have to do like anyone else and eyeball, measure, ???, make it happen.

Also keep in mind one model year to the next electronics can be very different. It might bolt in but will it work electrically? That's the million dollar question.

I was looking to swap my bench seat, years ago, for the type with the fold down arm rest and I found a few things on the internet describing that it was possible. Pretty sure it was Explorer seats though.

Search "F150 Explorer seat swap" and a bunch will pop up.

Have the dealer research and see if the electric seat tracks are the same
I think it might all just bolt up okay
The switch connectors and wiring might be different
Take a close look at the donor truck, and take photos of the underside of the cab
Compare those photos to your truck, see the placement of the bolt holes for the seats and seatbelt anchors

iiupiidown, I have a similar F150, mine being a 2003 single cab, Flairside. Originally, the truck was equipped with a 60/40 seat arrangement and a fold down armrest w/cubby in the center. My truck is the same generation as your 2001. So, I did an interior change and I'll characterize it for you. I was told by someone, who was much more savvy than me about these interior details, that the front seats and interior from a First Generation Ford Expedition, 1997-2002, would bolt right up in a 1997-2003 Ford F150, plus the 2004 Heritage Model. I found this information to exactly correct. Essentially, the Expedition and F150 interiors are the same arrangement from just behind the front seats to the firewall. So, I purchased a single complete passenger side seat, complete with seat belt and seat base tracks, from a 2002 F150 single cab with only 56K showing on the clock. Next, I went to an LKQ Salvage Yard, "pick your part", and secured a full length console from a 2001-2002 Ford Expedition, which stretches from the lower instrument panel in the front, all the way back to just behind the front seats. I removed my passenger side 60% seat and fold down console and installed the single passenger side bucket seat. All the bolt holes were already drilled and tapped for the bolts for the new arrangement and it was basically all a bolt in change. However, when you secure the console, you also need to secure the steel platform and attachments under it which slides into and bolts onto the floor pan. when installed, you will have to trim the carpet where the console base attaches to the floor pan. Ford made more than one Expedition console during those years, and I preferred the console which had a small cubby in the front, huge cup holders just behind that, and a huge console behind that. There are other consoles which have three engine instruments located in the front, instead of the small cubby. But you have to plumb all of those. Also, at the back of the console, there is a fold down cup holder as well as an extra cigarette lighter plug for all your devices. You'll have the wire this as well but very simple to do. Shoot me your email address and I'll see if I can locate some photos to send you. Also, don't forget to secure the extra torx bit hardware when you remove the seat to reinstall it. I think you need an additional two bolts. R.
