I have a 59' F250 that will be getting a 1993 302 and a rebuilt T5z installed over the next few months. Along with the 302 and T5 Swap, I am swapping to a 3G alternator, HEI distributor, and a Ford Racing High torque mini starter. Because my setup is so specific, I haven't been able to find conclusive information on any individual forums. Just pieces that I have cobbled together. I'm also fairly new to electrical / ignition work. The diagram I made below is what I currently have planned. If anyone could look it over and let and let me know if I'm being stupid, I would really appreciate it. If this diagram will work, hopefully somebody else can make use of it as well.
Depending on how clean your wiring is, you might consider swapping to a new wiring harness. I installed a universal 18 circuit harness from Painless & it made my motor swap, electric fans, electric fuel pump, etc. so much easier. Quality was good for the price, but if i was to do it over again, I'd go with American Autowire. Little more spendy, but my brother-in-law put one in his 72 Blazer & the quality is top notch. If you plan to add ANY more modern components to the truck, a new wiring harness just makes everything so much cleaner.

That is definatley in the plans, but I've gotta stretch my funds as much as possible. I've got $14,000 in parts to buy over the next 6 months. Lol. The current wires aren't horrible. Showing their age for sure, but still functional. For now, I want to get it together and driving and then do the wiring kit after funds stabilize.
