So is there a easier way to move the wiring harness out of infront of the 2 nuts on the left side of the brake pedal to get them undone to change out the MC and the whole little brake/hydroboost setup right there possibly other than prying it over as much as I can without it being to stressed and ripping wires n crap?
You got a pic? I'm not remembering anything in the way of the master and booster. Is this a later model truck? Maybe that's the difference I'm missing.
The 2 holes circled were the nuts i was talkkng about that i managed to pry wiring harness over just enough to finally get them off but getting the nut back on maybe a different story im about to find out
So it wasn't too terrible with alittle persuasion with a screw driver I managed to get the old one out and a newer used one in it's place but yesterday I had my gooseneck hooked up empty and was pulling out the convenience store and kinda punched it to get across the highway and suddenly upon take off I heard this loud thump coming from behind the cab so I assume it's either the dadgum carrier bearing or my rear end maybe going out not sure because I just heard it that one time so far but this weekend I'm gonna look around and see if I can't maybe track it's culprit down hopefully
BTW the truck is a 99 f250 SD 4X4
