I've been wanting this for my annual New Mexico trip where we are camped over an hour from a town and our ice only lasts a few days. There was already a hole from an old fifth wheel 7 way plug so I just made up a plate to fit the 12 volt socket. I used #6 wire to the rear to reduce voltage drop. I can run it easily when driving and for a few hours parked. A re-useable zip tie secures the plug with no chance of it falling out on bumpy roads. I also have a 100ah LiFep04 that I will use when parked, and the fridge has a 120 volt adapter for hotels and other stops with electricity. Also has Bluetooth for control and monitoring from front seat.
The fridge was on sale over the holidays for $169 normally $279 so I jumped on it. Free shipping and no tax either, shipped out of Ottawa, Canada. I've been watching this brand for a couple years. https://www.alpicool.com/main
