Electrical Gremlins…?

2017, 80k miles. Steering wheel and memory seats wont always go to the preset position on startup but works fine when you push the preset button. Also, the power running boards extend and retract beautifully, no grinding, very smooth. But sometimes after startup, they wont retract when you close the door, theyll wait til you hit the 3 or 5mph or whatever the speed is. Havent changed the batteries on the truck yet so that might be the issue? Is there any software updates for these? Also, it seems the seat belt, etc chime is louder at times, or like it comes through a different speaker than usual. Thanks.

Having some funky electrical issues on mine too, pretty sure I have one bad battery, going to get it tested monday.
My batteries were replaced less than two years ago, have a 3 year free replacement on them.
OEM batteries went about 1.5 years before one crapped out.

My original batteries lasted 6 years, so replacement is probably needed. As for the chimes, mine will sound different if remote started then it does with the key.

Change the batteries.

I just changed mine 2022 F350 12k 37 months of ownership.

Truck was constantly going into sleep mode.
Weird unrelated codes popping up.
Slower crank.
Both batteries were gassing, the passenger side battery was really bad.Lots of rust on the hold down and signs of battery acid leakage into the battery tray. I top off my batteries every 6 months with distilled water and check the terminals.

I replaced my flooded batteries with Walmart Everstart AGM batteries.

I checked the voltage on the “fully charged” batteries when I pulled them the driver’s side battery was 12.7V and the passenger was 12.3V.
