Ugly duck

Hello FTE,

Over the past few years I have been resurrecting an '87 F-350 with a 460 breathing propane. I consider myself a decent mechanic and handy with sheet metal, not so hot on body work. I also picked up a '11 P7B, or P71 if you prefer, at auction about 18 months ago and it has been a good daily after fixing a few issues. My other two vehicles are a '98 Wrangler, hurt, and a '87 Starion project, but this is a truck forum.

I hope to keep my old beast on the road while learning and sharing with others who appreciate or prefer vehicles of a certain vintage. I will be telling the story of my truck in the 1987-1996 forum and asking a couple of question at the end!

Welcome to the Forum Messofatruck. The City puts too much Snow Melt down to grab up old trucks here.
But looking hard will find southern trucks come back here to beat the Florida Souths humidity.
When they come back the owners say you wouldn't believe the humidity down there!

Yeah, some times I wonder if snow melt is over used just to destroy cars similar to Cash for Clunkers type programs. Watching mechanic disaster videos it is amazing to see how little of the vehicle remains on the road.
