Best sunshade for front windshield

It really doesn’t seem that difficult to find good fitting one, but it is. I do not want a flimsy piece of junk. Cry once is my motto.

Pigenius is where I was leaning but their descriptions just seem off, plus Amazon who sells them seems inconsistent as well.

I read on one that the sunscreen is not compatible with a HUD (heads up display). Who knew?

Anyone have a link for a quality one?

Thanks

I have a WeatherTech that has lasted through two trucks and 7 years. Still works like new.

I have this installed on the windshield. Works very well with reducing heat inside the cab. Looks a bit odd sometimes at certain angles if you wear polarized sunglasses.

I highly recommend you check out Heatshield. I've been using them for years on all my vehicles and airplane. No affiliation with them, just a satisfied customer. Check online for a 5-10% discount code. www.heatshieldstore.com

Okay. I called your bluff and ordered one. We'll see how it works. I agree that none of the common amazonian ones fit properly.

I agree with HeatShield. I used the same one for the last 10 years on my Ram. Got one for my new F350 ready to go for summer.

I have had one on a few previous vehicles. They are top notch. Only complaint is the roll up style. they do not fold down flat as most. Otherwise they work very well!

I use one from Husky that is fitted to the Super Duty. Very stout and fits perfectly.

Exterior sun shields perform better, but are a pia to put on. Interior shades get warm and still heat the interior.

I use exterior type when parked at campsite for several days at a time.

Selection is harder to find for exterior type.

Believe it or not the Ford brand super duty sun shade really works well. Super easy to stow. Yes it is pricey at a bit less than $100 but it works and is easy to install and remove. I like mine.

Does it fit with HUD (heads up display)?

Does it fit with HUD? Covercraft does not. FYI, covercraft also makes the Ford one that’s branded with Super Duty on it, so not even gonna bother with that one. Ford doesn’t allow returns.

This is what I went with. I used my points from the truck purchase to get it. I have the HUD and it fits.
