Without a crystal ball it's impossible to give you a definitive answer, but the simplest way to start is to ask you this: Have you checked (and/or confirmed) that the actuator is getting power?
My 93 f250 passenger door will not lock or unlock either using the auto switch or manually with the key from the outside
Is the actuator needing replaced or is there something else going on? Anyone had that problem? Many thanks
If you cannot move the mechanism via the key manually you have something binding up pretty good inside the door. Try taking off the
door panel and see if when attempting to turn the key where it is binding. Also, spray in some lubricant (PB Blaster or similar to lube things up).
Your door lock actuator is frozen up
When they freeze up, the key no longer works either
At least your 1993' has a stand alone actuator and is not built into the latch
That makes it quite a bit easier to replace. Drill the big aluminum rivet
Good luck
