I am happy to report that we have added over 25 new chapter members to the chapter today and yesterday!!
I have been trying to add everyone to the map so take a moment to check it out. If you are not on the map or on the map but not in the right place please let me know and I will try to add you or make corrections.
I hope that everyone is ready for the cold snap and fairs well. I don't know about the upstate but us Lowcountry folks don't handle snow and ice well... lol.
Just a bit of advice for any northern transplants now living in God's country.... Even though y'all know how to drive in ice and snow...WE DON'T!! Thus driving in winter storm conditions in SC makes you a target!! LOL
Unless you have to work, like me, I would advise everyone to stay home where it is hopefully nice and warm.
In all seriousness, I hope everyone stays safe over the next few unusual days for SC. If anyone close to me needs anything that I am able to help out with please don't hesitate to ask!!
I am sure some of the upstate folks are used to some snow but not us coastal people!
Since we don't normally see temperatures this low in these parts I did take the opportunity to see how she started and she fired right up! I had to head to work so I didn't get a chance to drive around any.
While browsing FB I found a local group of people with classic cars and trucks that meet up in various areas around Charleston. They meet in a different area on different Sunday mornings.
So I took a ride over this morning and met a few new people with the same passion for old cars and trucks. Here are a few pictures from today.
