In an effort to breathe some new life into this chapter, I am starting this new roll call thread. Let’s see where everyone is located around the state. Also, feel free to post your rides, current projects, pictures, etc.
I will start.
I am in the Charleston area.
Working on restoring a 1975 F-100 Ranger with a 77 frame and drivetrain.
Eric here. I’m up in Easley near Greenville. My son has a 78 F150 Ranger that is his daily driver. We’re always looking for advice on fixes here and there.
Shawn in Anderson..... during the winter anyways. We sold our house 4 years ago and live full time in our 5th wheel. We got tired of the years of the SC summer heat so now we escape to cooler climates for the summer. Yellowstone National Park in mid MAY
Jay in Tigerville (north of Travelers Rest). I'm very slowly doing a restomod on a '72 F-250 Camper Special. No pics because it's in a million pieces right now. I fabbed an 8' Flareside bed for it. Other mods are a 68-69 white painted grille, painted bumpers, and a mildly built-up 300 six. I'm going for the 'farm truck' look. My daily is a '95 F-150 4X4.
I was with my dad when he purchased our '58 F-100 new from Shankey Motors in Haverstraw, NY. It was his shop truck for his Esso gas station from 1958-1963. My uncle used it as his commuter from 1963-1972 when he returned it to me. I've had it ever since. It underwent a comprehensive rebuild as a labor of love in the 80's as the bottom 12" was full of rust.
It was transported to GA when I moved there in 1996 and I trailered it to Anderson, SC when I moved here in 2019.
The rest of the fleet is listed below.
Lou Manglass
1958 F-100 Custom Cab
2001 Excursion 6.8L w/3.73:1 & LSD
2007 Forest River Lexington (on 2006 E-450 cab & chassis)
2024 Bronco Sport
and, while off topic for here;
2009 Mustang GT/CS
I guess that makes me a Ford guy even though I'm a General Motors retiree!

Rezvani's Latest Post-Apocalyptic Monster Is a Ford F-150 Raptor Underneath
I am in Rock Hill. I have a 69 F100 short bed I have had since 1978. Right now I am doing the second off the frame restoration. Converting from a 302 w/4-speed to a 521 w/C6. The engine is almost done, about to start on the frame.
