93 with the 5.8, have no right front turn signal, and no indicator. replaced bulb, checked fuses both in engine bay as well as under dash all good.
have all 3 other signals front and rear, as well as hazards except right front. can the problem be with the multi function switch for turn, Hazzard, wipers etc? I did have the column out for a rebuild( spun/broken bearing) and all the wiring connectors are fine. oh, turn relay works, is clicking as well as Hazzard relay.
You driving a 79?
What truck are you working on that has a multifunction TS switch?
Sometimes individual wires can get pulled out of the multifunction switch connectors
So, inspect the wires coming out of the rear of that switch
Find a EVTM for your year and truck (always post what you are working on, and someone might post a schematic)
The EVTM will show connectors and locations that will help
Check the bulb socket itself for failure
Re verify the bulb is the correct dual filament type
Re verify the correct bulb type in the owners manual if needed
it's a 93, new dual filament, worked before pulling the column, which is the only work that has been done in that area. switch is original, thinking issue may be related to the switch being moved/ taken out, as I can't think of anything else.
I'd recheck the wires going into the switch at the back of the multifunction switch
Also, if the hazard flashers are on, and the hazard flasher is no good, you could get a problem similar
So, make sure your hazards are off just in case
I don't really see how you could have damaged the switch just removing the column, but maybe the switch is no good now
Does the indicator in the instrument cluster flash when the right front turn signal is activated? If so, the issue will not be the MFS since the dash indicator is spliced with the wiring to the right front turn signal bulb. Also, the parking light circuit does not flow through the MFS, so that further supports that the MFS is not the issue. I'd be more inclined to suspect a bad ground at the right front socket since that would impact both the parking light as well as the turn signal at that corner. Usually though a missing ground would cause the dash turn signal indicator to glow when the parking and headlights are turned on.
But, if the dash indicator also does not work, even though the right rear does, that WOULD point to the MFS or MFS connector since the rear turn signals are powered through a separate terminal of the MFS. This however would not explain the right front parking light not working.
