I woke up to an alert this morning saying "Front camera low visibility Clean Screen."
Then I looked at the front camera at the top of the windshield it had a bunch of condensation in it. The front window gets foggy in the morning in FL but its not like wet like the top of the windshield.
You can see the beads of water droplets on the inside of the windshield on the camera electrical in the pictures below. I did have my windshield replaced in April because there was a huge line in the windshield from the manufacturing process.
So I'm either thinking its a bad seal on the windshield, leaking roof led lamps, or maybe its just a big change in temperature overnight that caused it. I held hose with pressure to the windshield, shooting directly at the windshield seams and LED roof lamps, I didn't see any obvious leaking.
Anyone experience something like this before?
Looks like high humidity and cold glass. I would think this would be common in FL. Check the carpets under the dash for water, if dry I would bet its just a cold spell that ran through and dropped the dew point.
i have had that happen here with a wild temp change and high humidity for my f150
run the defrost a few minutes and it will clear out
provided you dont have a leak
Strange, but mine never comes on unless I am driving at highway speeds. When I am in town, it NEVER comes on. The other strange part is, I drove my truck to Wisconsin in September, and it never came on. I drive it to and from Nashville from my house and it comes on several times during the trip. I will take it apart and clean it since the dealer had his monkey paws up there and may have greezed it up.
