Hi am attempting to covert to PS on my 67 F100. I got the column shortned no issues and have PS steering box installed but cannot find a pitman arm that will work. I am using Cardone box
27-7504
Output Shaft Diameter - Imperial:
0.864 in
I realize the old manual pitman arm will not work, so I bought Proforge 103-10063 but that will not work, its too big for the PS output shaft. appreciate help this is the only thing holding up the show thanks
Looks like it crosses to this PS box D9TZ3504A , but I will go out and see if I can find a number on the box itself
Read this: https://www.fordification.com/tech/s...variations.htm
Now, what is the engineering ID number cast into the box (like C9TZ, or like D2TZ or beyond)?
From the article, you need an up-to early 71 pitman arm, or a late 71+ arm depending on the box.

Thanks for trying to help, I will take a look at the article. I typed wrong part number in for the pitman arm I have which is 103-10050 proforge, anyway it is not right one. PS box is installed but I will crawl around see if can find a casting number thanks
1968/69 could have been a Bendix box or a Ford. 1970 to 72 box was part number C9TZ3504C, replaced by D7TZ3504D, replaced by D9TZ3504A. The number OP listed. As Rich mentioned, there were two different Pitman arms. Before and after M00,001 in 1971. These had two different drag links. One the end studs were the same direction and the other with studs facing opposite. After M00,001 the studs were the same direction.
Early pitman arm was part number C9TZ3590C. Discontinued long ago. Late arm was part number D2TZ3504B. I can't tell when this was discontinued. There is one on ebay now.
thanks all pitman issue is now solved. Now fighting 1st gear with the new column. Reverse working fine, but not 1st, works sometimes and sometimes not. will try adding length to shift rod. Side note Power steering is working and while I am NOT a good fab person I made brackets to install the Volvo electric pump with the Cardone PS box and so far that is working great. I used a can/bus controller for the unit to be able to adjust pump output and so far thats great and easier than hunting brackets and hyd pump etc.
Great! But what exactly does that mean? Don't tell us you're keeping it a secret!
Sorry you're dealing with other issues as well now, but let us know what you did to solve your initial pitman arm dilemma please.
