Thanks, I started by ordering an AVS off Amazon that was spaced off the hood like the Ford parts version on my 2017 and the fit was absolutely terrible, to the point I didn't even install it. I should have looked at the reviews because 40% rated it 1 star with the same comments. The vendor won't pay return shipping so now I have a $120 piece of useless plastic and I will continue to try and get my money back for this garbage.
This one is from Ford, has a small Ford logo and is a stick on. It has raised SUPER DUTY letters across the front which IMO brings that detail back to the front of the truck instead of hiding it like the AVS. On the glacier grey the deflector actually ties in the black of the grill and actually looks pretty good, again my opinion. I can't remember the price at Ford but it definitely was not excessive in any way. Especially when it saves the paint on the hood.
Do you have a link for the Ford one? I was looking on Ford site and could not find one for 2026.
Just bought a 26 FX4 in the same color. It looks like you have a bug deflector, can you tell me what one? I have not been able to find the Ford Superduty one.
Changed my rear diff fluid today and with just over 2k it was fairly metallic looking. Magnets didn’t have much on them just some fine stuff. It was nice to have a gasket instead of having to use RVT. It will only take just over four quarts to refill.
Been a bit busy at work to get on here but a bunch of stuff over the past couple of months. Transferred IPF off-road lights and an ARB onboard air compressor from the Suburban and trimmed the front air dam to Tremor width:
Decided to mount the lights behind the grill to protect them somewhat - I've already dealt with one person in the garage at work that pulled up too close and broke one on the Suburban. Good amount of light still comes through the grill.
Found a good spot on the driver's side fender - about parallel with the battery - to locate my ARB air compressor. Didn't use the upfitter switch for this - it's easier to operate the rocker switch when it's located close to the compressor. The switch is just behind the compressor in this installation. Running it is still a two-person operation - one to hold the valve on whatever you're inflating and one to turn it on and off and having the switch right there is more convenient. Using a rubber furniture foot to keep dust and such out of the output junction when we're not using it.
And around back, I added a drop-in bed liner and a Worksport AL-3 bed cover:
Observant eyes will note the two totes strapped into the bed in front of the rear axle. That's 400 pounds of play sand for winter traction and the bonus of ride improvement. I suspect they'll stay permanently in place. The improvement in ride is pretty remarkable.
I think I mentioned this in another thread but the Rough Country floor mats are the bomb - fit perfectly as opposed to the much high-priced Weather Techs and are showing no signs of wear. But I've only had them in there for a couple thousand miles. 7,250-ish miles on the truck now. Of course, the first 4200 were spent towing the camper on the return leg of our Oregon Trail/Glacier-Banff-Jasper-Edmonton trip this summer.
Decided to add some glacier grey letters to the front fenders to match the tailgate letters. I should have added these to my original tuffskinz order but here we are. I thought the stock fender logos just blended together all in black.
Last week I used my truck to have some fun in the southwest desert of CA. This was the first fully loaded tow test since I purchased the truck: 13K toy hauler with 50 gal water, 30 gal fuel, two dirt bikes, tools, etc. loaded in the bed. Very happy with the towing performance.

Changed the air filter using the OEM, Motorcraft FA2031 @ 16.8k miles. The foam side was very dirty. There was some debris (small leaves, bugs, etc) in the airbox itself that I cleaned out. That is a tight fit getting that thing back in (that's what she said?).
