Son got a Rough Country 20" LED light bar. Started installation today and I am curious of the most probable location to run the 2 wires thru the firewall to place the switch. Not into butchering a truck, just adding some extra light. Nice kit that includes everything needed except some creativity to mount. We used some u nuts from tractor supply, a few short pieces of 1" square aluminum tube and a couple ss bolts. I'll post some pics once powered to show w & w/o light.
Thanks in advance.
Cant help where to get it inside the cab there has to be some rubber gasket other wires come thru no?
Or drill a hole checking on each side that you are not going to drill into something and can get to the wire.
Also you know that light bar is for OFF ROAD ONLY!
To many red necks use them on the road and you cannot see when they are coming at you.
You may want to tie the relay into the high beam head lights so the bar only comes on with the highs and can turn both off with just 1 switch.
Now you can arm the relay with a switch so the bar will not come on with the highs if you want.
Factory fog / driving light are set up this way.

Rained today so I couldn't finish. I imagine there is a grommet somewhere to share. Yes the light is for occasional use like foggy mornings or driving thru the weather after dark, not that it stops others from driving them on the road. This kit has a separate switch so it is specifically as needed. Thought about tying to low beams as that would be less offensive but will be deliberately aiming a short downward direction before letting it go.
