in the end its working signal wise! so the bulb was partially the issue aswell as the flasher
Oooh, a serious breach of forum protocol. Typically what happens is a new member asks for help, engages in some spirited discussion to determine an answer, and then leaves us hanging without ever revealing the final outcome. For your punishment, you must listen to this on a continuous loop for 24 hours:
Im sorry , I didnt mean to break any rules. You guys were correct with the bulb being the first start , because after the bulb came on solid that was what clued me into it not flashing ( Thus it could be a flasher ) , i looked at the EVTM I found on the forums here aswell . After determining it was a good idea and worth the 5$ compared to the 120$ id wasted in tools and rental pullers to try to change the switch itself on the column, and then it all worked. https://www.garysgaragemahal.com/1986-evtm.html
and the previous link https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...ing-guide.html
I appreciate the help , although if you could tell me how to avoid breaking the rule in the future id appreciate it, as ill definitely have more questions in the future for sure.

Oh, absolutely no worries. You're perfectly fine. I was just messing with you, or more specifically, poking fun at the other guys who never come back to wrap up their threads. That happens a LOT and is very frustrating.
Ah well i appreciate the help more than anything , I wouldnt be so rude as to just dip without saying thanks or letting you guys know if what took YOUR TIME UP ( even if not extremely long ) , successfully worked or not. Most mechanics wanted to charge me for this advice n resrouces. With the help i got it done for free and by myself. Plus , I know for a FACT i got more questions I have to make a seperate thread about and id rather not **** the people off who are gonna be helping me.
