ford ranger
dumb question, installed 117.6 wheel base fuel pump. it runs but obviously sending unit isnt working properly. it says on my ranger it has 126 wheel base so do I buy a fuel pump closest to that number? because all i see are 125.9 fuel pumps? can i continue to drive with this one until i can get another pump?

That would be wise. The tanks obviously are different in length and that throws off the reading.
You can get by with it.
Just for future reference, this isn’t an engine specific issue, so I would point you to the Ranger subforum up the page a bit as it gets more traffic and possibly quicker answers.
