Breaks and steering

I am currently trying to put some breaks and new steering parts on my Dana 44 front and Dana 60 rear axles. What are some good brands to get quality parts from, and where could I get them?

I prefer Raybestos since I have been using them for more than a couple decades now and their parts have always worked well for me. Wagner seems to make okay stuff too. In reality they probably all come from the same assembly facility but with different labels on the box depending on which "manufacture" ordered them. That's how a lot of things are anyway. Not sure if brakes are any different.

I check prices between Rockauto, Summit Racing and Bronco Graveyard. I will also check the p/n# on Amazon, but if it is not significantly less expensive I prefer to use one of the first three I listed.

Unfortunately trying to by at a local parts store often results in 2-4x's the cost of ordering online even when you account for shipping. Just have to plan ahead to account for shipping times.

Dennis Carpenter and National Parts Depot are other places to check.

LMC is a last resort at this point. Only things I will order from them are when I can't find the part I am looking for anywhere else.

Steering parts? Use nothing other than Moog. Rock Auto usually has Moog stuff. Parts stores are hit or miss, at least in my area.

Brake parts suggestion above is solid.

x2 on the moog parts, forgot you asked about steering too. O'reilly carries some moog parts, but you have to specify that's what you want other wise they try to give you their "cheap" line.

I replaced all the parts, shoes, wheel cylinders, all the attaching hardware, seals, brake hose and park brake cables.

Front brakes got new shoes, calipers, rotors, seals inner spindle bearings, brake hoses, and master cylinder.
I also replaced the u-joints in the front axles. All the u-joints and spindle bearing kits were Spicer.
All of the brake parts were Raybestos.
I purchased everything from rockauto.com.

I haven't needed any steering or suspension parts but like others recommended I too would only buy Moog.

I have all Raybestos sitting in my garage waiting until after family time/Christmas break. Rotors/pads/lines and master cylinder. For bearings and seal I try to use precision/national or timkin.

I also get most of my stuff through rockauto/summit etc.

For brake stuff, Raybestos ... for chassis stuff, Moog ... but for steering boxes, Red Head.
