‘71 Brake Booster Issues
Hi guys, I’m looking to buying this 71 F100 and I’ve been talking to the seller and wanted to come to y’all with a question.
So they installed a “new boosted master cylinder and full brake line kit” on the truck, but they are saying that when they hook up a vacuum line it pulls the brake pedal in. Said that they think the line needs to be adjusted in some way. Is this the issue, and if so how can this be fixed? Or is there so other issue here.
I apologize for vagueness, this is all their word not mine. I appreciate the help in advance.

Have you filled the m/c bled the brakes yet? If not I would do that before diving any deeper into it.
There might be adjustment on the rod between booster and m/c. Just a guess on my part, but if there is any slack between booster and m/c, as soon as vacuum is applied that gap is taken up which would move the pedal.
If you bought the booster and m/c combined together I wouldn't think that would be an issue, but these days with parts who knows?
If you bought the pieces separately it's possible there's a mismatch.
