*I have verified that the electrical connector is well seated in the solenoid.
*Voltage on the power wire (I believe red/yellow) is approximately 2.25 volts with key on engine off. As I was searching for a good ground, the voltage did jump up to around 12V momentarily, but I couldn't reproduce a 12V reading. I was able to get it to read ~2.25V twice (grounding in two different locations). So I'm a little leery of this, and I may need to run a ground wire to the battery and re-check the connector voltage.
*Continuity check passed on signal wire from solenoid connector to PCM C175b Pin 61 (approximately 65 ohms if I remember correctly)
*Resistance across solenoid terminals is approximately 68 ohms.
Can anyone tell me if the voltage reading is where it should be? If it is where it needs to be, does anyone know the next steps in diagnosing this code?
The trouble turned out to be this connector in the harness against the outside of the frame under the driver's side door. It has given me trouble in the past, and I had previously cleaned it and added dielectric grease, but apparently the pins for this particular sensor had reached the point of physical failure. I jumpered around the connector and all is well.
