Are the pieces of driveshaft supposed to be sandwiched together? Or is there supposed to be spaces between each part? This is my 1968 F100 240 6cyl. I’m new to the site

Take a picture of the front coupling shaft back to the center support bearing. Something isn't right about that. Also, you need a new center support bearing.
Have you had your warranty plate decoded to determine if you have the original engine and transmission? This is what I'm seeing. The front coupling shaft is too short. and the center support bearing is coming apart. The rear driveshaft slip yoke is missing the dust seal.
The coupling shafts are specific to different engine/transmission combinations if someone swapped transmissions or swapped coupling shafts without some careful measuring it won't be the correct length. The dust shield on the coupling shaft should be up very close to the center support bearing.
Finding one the correct length in a salvage yard is unlikely your best bet is to have a new coupling shaft (front driveshaft) made.
The splatter rings of grease on the undercarriage don't line up with where the grease would be coming from on your current components. It looks like there was a longer output shaft at some point, and maybe the carrier bearing has been repositioned.

Good observation on the grease. It seems there was a longer transmission in there at some point and someone swapped in a 4 speed with the wrong coupling shaft. There is only one place for the center support bearing to mount on these trucks and it is in the correct spot.
If @Five Dollar will post a pic of the warranty plate, we could figure out which transmission was originally in there. Not that it matters because at this point only money is going to fix it.
Thanks for all the info everyone. My VIN plate seems to be correct with what’s in there now. I’m thinking someone put the wrong upper section of the shaft at some point.
