Question Blower Not Running

All the vacum valves seem to be ok but I am not getting any voltage to the blower motor. Anyone know where I can get a schematic of this system to see if a relay might be the problem. All funtions seem to work but the fan will not run. Every now and then the fan will start and then stop as soon as it started?

Can't seem to get my picture to work. Not exactly the right year anyways. Basically, your power should run from fuse box (BR/O?) thru heater function switch (DB/LG?) to blower. It gets tricky to explain after that. For low, the power runs completely thru the resisters. Med's run thru the fan switch and then the resister and high runs thru fan switch to ground.

so there isnt any relays that might be bad? Maybe thye resitors are going out. Where are these reistors located? My fuse block doesnt list which fuse or relay is which so it is hard to troubleshoot.

When the resistors go you end up with only high speed so thats not the problem. Sorry, I don't have a wiring diagram for 1995.

Fuse will be 30amp (not too many of those). The resisters should be right there with the blower but, if you have intermittant power at the blower you may want to look at the heater switch for a bad connection. Did you check voltage there with a meter? The switch seems to be a weak spot for Ford. Will it run on High? That bypasses the resisters and will eliminate them as a problem.

I removed the radio and checked the 4 position fan switch there isnt any power comming into the switch. I checked the resitance on tyhe poles of the switch and they do open and close in a pattern. Do any of you know where the power for this switch comes from. I checked all fuses non are blown.

Man, is my computer screwed up or what Ken? I clicked on that and my comp wanted to install Office 2000 pro.

That's the same pic I was using. I believe the problem to be at the switch that turns the heater on, not the fan speed switch but the other one. I guess I didn't explain it very good.

It's a Word document, if you don't have Word that might be why its happening. Let me know and I can turn it into something you can use.

It appeares to be the relay not pulling in I repaced the relay and it still dosent work Am I on the wrong relay? Next to the engine compartment fuse box there are Two relays in a smaller relay box which one is the relay for the blower?

If this is wired the same as my 95 Taurus, there is no relay. The dash switch provides a ground to the voltage coming from the blower motor. Check for a clean tight ground connection. Then check for voltage at the switch.
