Very weird Ipr problem/electrical problem??
2003 6.0 power stroke I’m about to burn this truck down so I am having a high-pressure oil problem and I am only building around 480 psi of pressure. I have a brand new Hpop in it J tube all Ford OEM O-rings, new standpipe O-rings and oil rail o rings and all that sort of stuff pressure tested the oil system and everything checks out no leaks whatsoever. I had a cheap ipr valve in there so I thought that was a problem and pulled that out and went and got a new Ford OEM one put that in still the same thing if I command the IPR valve shut with 12 V from the battery for a few seconds to oil pressure jumps right up to 2800 psi but if I have it hooked up to the harness, it doesn’t close all the way for whatever reason even commanding it with forscan it’ll open up all the way and close 1/2 of the way, but not fully. I did the air test on it too and the same thing. Long story short I am led to believe it is a electrical problem. It has an all new wiring harness in it and everything has anybody ever had this happen before I’m thinking it might be a bad PCM. Any help is greatly appreciated Thanks Hazen
