I just purchased a 2024 F-350 super duty. Laramie Trim package. Having a custom flatbed installed on it. Everyone I've talked to says I'm going to lose my 360 view. Is this true? If so are there any aftermarket kits I can install?
If you add the compatible camera to the back of the flat deck, as close to the same position as the tailgate camera, it is possible to re calibrate the system (not sure how, maybe forscan). The image will never be perfect, but better than no cameras.
The camera system is really picky about which camera is used. Also lots of people have issues just removing the tailgate with the tailgate ajar code staying up. Not sure if this was resolved, but ford has made it much trickier to flat deck a pickup. Chassis cabs are much simpler to work with.
