Rear View Mirror wiring help

Hey guys, I was wondering if ya'll can help me with something. My mirror was damaged recently and I'm planning to replace it with a RVD/COMPASS mirror. I have already sourced the mirror and I know how/that I need to add wires and terminals and repin the connector. What I'm struggling with is conflicting wiring diagrams. Perhaps you guys can help me out.

This is the mirror I got

As far as wiring diagrams go. I have found the following

And (only difference is it includes the mic)
Same pinout

I have found. This connector diagram.

My question is, the mirror I got came with a pigtail and the pigtail seems to match this connector diagram.

It doesn't reference the compass, despite being a compass mirror. Do any of ya'll know the different? Also, what are the electrochomatic wires. (I know what the electrochomatic function is... But why does this one have wires for it but the diagrams I referenced above do not???)

Just to add, here is the pigtail that came on the back of the mirror

So I found these two wiring schematics

Based on this. It would appear that there are two things. This mirror sends a signal to the driver's side mirror of the truck to dim. I have read about this feature being in a specific truck package

https://www.f150forum.com/f38/auto-d...irrors-192204/

But now I'm second guessing if the mirror actually has the compass in it. This seems to be that the compass signal is handled in the BCM... Am I missing something? The other diagrams showed the compass as having a + and a - signal. But this one only has a single lin line.... Confused...

Ok guys,

I think I answered my question.

On two very specific models of mirrors, the F150 actually had a rear view interior mirror which, when the electrochomatic function was activated in the mirror, would send a signal over to the drivers side exterior mirror to also activate auto dimming. This is activated by means of the 11 and 15 pins.

For some reason on this particular mirror, the reverse wire, which activates the screen / cancels the auto dimming is in pin 9 instead of pin 2. Pin 2 is a signal from the LIN BUS, that for the life of me, I cannot fathom the reason for its existence. In any event. I believe that this mirror that I purchased won't work for my project.

If anyone else has more details on the purpose of LIN BUS, feel free to let me know.

Unfortunately, as part of this, the compass is moved from

Adding this here

https://charm.li/Ford/2011/F%20450%2...Navigation%29/

Normal Operation The Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) receives the compass display message from the Body Control Module (BCM) over the High Speed Controller Area Network (HS-CAN) communication bus. The BCM receives the compass display message from the auto-dimming interior mirror over the Local Interconnect Network (LIN) communication bus. The BCM is only a gateway for the compass information and does not control the compass display.

The auto-dimming interior mirror receives voltage from the BCM fuse 32 (15A). If the compass display message is missing or invalid for 5 seconds or less, the compass displays the last vehicle direction based upon the last known good compass display message received. If the compass display message is invalid or missing for 5 seconds or more, the IPC defaults the display to all dashes (---).
