Though my truck is "new", it was produced near a year ago. The wipers have a bad chatter, even with heavy rain. Is the consensus to go back with OEM Motorcraft wiper blades, or something like Trico, Bosch, or Rain-X?
I have not looked to see if they come in a compatible size yet for my 24, but I am a fan of the Bosch Icon wipers.
Just put new Bosch Icons on my ‘23 after getting the windshield replaced. 22 inch blades on both driver and passenger side. I’m sure the ‘24 is the same. Bummed I lost the 75th anniversary tag that was on my original windshield though but the crack across my view finally got too big
My factory blades didn't even make it a year. I went with the best RainX ones they sell at walmart. Not the truck/suv ones. They have been great so far.
I ran Bosch and RainX with good results for a long time, but about 3 years ago discovered PIAA Si-Tech wipers and haven't turned back. The set I installed on my excursion 3 years ago that I sold to my brother in law are still going strong. I haven't found them in any retail stores, I get them on Amazon.
I've run Bosch for a number of years. When I got my 2023, I put a set of the super-duper Rain-X's on... I don't think they did anything better than the less expensive Icons, so I'm back to them.
Bosch Icons on everything for me.
Before changing them, I'd clean the windshield and wiper blades really well with Dawn. Sometimes it's a buildup on either that causes streaks or chattering. I also use the orange RainX washer fluid which makes the windshield easier to clean and the blades runs smooth.
Try cleaning the entire windshield with a single edge razor blade and glass cleaner of your choice. The amount of road grime and dirt that gets baked on will blow your mind.

And then apply Rain-X (the solution, not necessarily the wiper brand).
I have had good luck with Rain-X, PIAA and Bosch. For the most part, you get what you pay for.
I also have started to buy them by subscription from Amazon - that way when they show up I just put them on. No need to wait until you first "notice" degradation, then "forget" you need them cause, after all "the roof doesn't leak when it doesn't rain" and most people are not in a position to place an order while driving down the road...

Friend of mine from work told me once that he changed his wiper blades when he changed the oil... at that time 5000mi. Seemed like good advise to me. My changes are at 7500mi now, with full synthetic, but that seems like a good change interval.
Not sure what's up with my 23, but I have yet to find wipers that don't chatter. OE didn't make it four months. Have always used PIAA, tried those but they didn't last eight months. Rain-X on now and while they're better, they still chatter a bit under the right conditions... and I even use Rain-X washer fluid, and have for years. This should not happen. Never had the first problem with PIAAs lasting 18 months on my 2019, or any other vehicle. I think there's something about the curvature of these 23+ windshields that prevent a clean wipe in all conditions. And it's damn frustrating.
I had my truck coated with Ceramic Pro, including all the windows when I bought it. With the ceramic coating you can almost drive with the wipers off in the rain. Water just sheds off with the wind as you drive. The OEM wipers are a year old and pretty much toast. I will be switching to Bosch or Silblades. I had Silblades on my 17 and they lasted about 3 years.
