Evap issue or fuel level sending unit?
I have a new to me 2001 F250 V10 4WD CC SB and I can't fill it up past 3/4 of a tank. After Google and this forum, I was figuring it was the evap canister but even if I pull the line it still won't go past 3/4 per the gauge. So I've been searching more and it seems like when others have issues with the evap system they can't seem to be able to put any or very little gas in but for me it fills like normal but always stops at 3/4 tank. Plus, I've noticed that the gauge seems somewhat unstable when driving in the mountains with changing the angle of the truck. This makes me wonder if it might be the fuel level sending unit instead of something in the evap system.
Additional note, not sure if it matters, my truck does not have the EGR valve.
