So sorry to bombard the group with questions that will be answered when my 16dec24 build date truck will be here!
The trucks have those two lumps on the rear roof corners. I thought those were to give better BLIS range that could see alongside trailers. My travel trailer is only 23' from ball to bumper (I am length constrained by the depth of my garage and tree obstacles at our mountain place). But then I read in the "Eight innovative new technologies" this below. Is this just for mega long trailers, or do 5ths and gooses track differently and benefit from extra sensors?
Blind Spot Information System for Fifth Wheel & Gooseneck that can be attached to a trailer to help identify when objects or vehicles are next to the trailer.
I hope I don't hit a "dumb questions" threshold and get locked out of the forum!
Nothing in the roof is related to BLIS - those sensors are in the taillights.
5th wheel and goosenecks get much closer to the rear of the truck, and tend to be wider. For those trailer types you need additional optional sensors to attach to their sides so the system can see down them unobstructed.
D'oh! (said Homer Simpson style). Searching, I see the black lumps are the Sirius antenna and embedded modem.
My F-150 has its sensors in the tail lights, they didn't sense very far back, certainly not as far as the trailer extends. Looks like $1,330 for the BLIS sensors and trailer TPMS as a dealer installed option. For me, that's what stock mirrors and $60 Amazon TPMS sensor/display systems are for!

Thanks.
