2022 and my driver's seat leather where my butt rests is already stretched. I am only 150lbs. That's some quality materials Ford :/
Is it possible to upholster the seats and add additional lumbar support? I have to use a small pillow, the factory support just doesn't push out enough.
Real leather stretches.
Any good auto upholstery shop can add padding, but it won't be cheap to do it right.
Lumbar adjusts out so far in my truck that you'd think someone stuck a big ball in my lower back, maybe yours isn't working right.
Did you buy it new? Some people disconnect the lumbar because they can be too aggressive. It's nothing more than a cable attached to a motor that draws it tight. Some padding can be added between the cable and seat cover, a 4" wide pad the width of the seat back would probably work quite well. As for the cover stretching, it happens, but you might also have a cover with broken clips that pulled away from the sides. Check by trying to pull up the side where its covered by the side panel.
If lumbar support is lacking, you can slide one of these up in that area between the cover and foam. Just remove the gauge and plug off the hose, and leave the hose and bulb where it's convenient to operate.
Years ago I did the same for previous vehicle that didn't have lumbar cushioning, and it could be adjusted for whatever support I required (used mainly for long trips).

Lol, same with mine.
Most of the older vehicles I've driven I would almost have to increase the lumber support to max, but in this truck it doesn't take much before it becomes uncomfortable.
