I have a 21 F 350 with an 8' box I want to install the OEM 5th wheel prep kit BUT......
I bought it used and the previous owner spray lined the bed floor hiding the punch marks for the Drilling locations.
Does anyone have the measurements for the punch marks so I can chip out the bedliner and at least come close to where they are ..........
well the middle hole is pretty obvious where it is and I'm assuming you have the prep kit so you could put the crossmember in the bed to mark the hole locations
All 5 holes are stamped, just remove about an inch circle in the middle of each to find the dimple. Your going to have to do it regardless if you have measurements or not.
that is what i planned to do , was hoping for measurements to make it a little easier......
The dimple will be in the dead center of each circle, so just make an X and chip out that area, should be within 1/8th inch of it.
You will be using a hole saw, so take the drill bit part out, turn it upside down to center it, then mark the middle opening. and peel away the lining, will be a lot quicker than trying to measure it out.
I think everyone is missing the OP point! He said the bedliner has filled in the dimples, so he can’t see where to drill. I wish I could find the measurements to help him out. If someone has a bed with no liner and could measure the dimples for him, I think that would give him what he’s after.

he has everything he needs, where the middle hole goes is very obvious so he can remove the bed liner in the center and find the dimple. then he has a big hunk of metal shaped like an "H" that has the pucks that will poke through the holes he has the drill, he can measure that or put it in the bed and see where the holes will be and find the dimples

I realize I can scrape away the center area of the flat spots to find the dimples what I was hoping was someone had the measurements for the dimples so I don't have to remove the liner from those 5 spots.......already have to remove it from the eight bed bolts.........

I appreciate it, thought I found the measurements....... but they were for a shorter box and obviously wrong......
Go underneath the truck and you should be able to see the dimple marks on the underside of the bed, drill small pilot hole from the bottom up, then enlarge from the top.
