The Tilt steering wheel in my truck won't lock into a position, if I put pressure on the steering wheel it will fall all the way down to the bottom position. Any ideas on what part I need to replace? and is it hard to get to?

This is a common problem with the Tilt Columns from threads I have read.
I have never worked on one as my 86 does not have one.
Did a Google search on broken tilt columns.
I don't know about your column but on the underside of the '87-'91 columns there is a piece of metal with teeth on it that lock the column position into place. Remove the steering wheel and shrouds so you can see what's going on--it might be an easy fix.
