Chilly weather. Electrical issues??
Strange things happening when it’s chilly out. I live in FL, bought the truck here in FL as well. When the temp drops below, say 45°-50°, none of my accessory stuff works. Like turning the key to the accessory (backwards) position,
nothing electrical fires up. None of the windows roll up or down, door chime don’t work, when the truck is cold the wipers won’t turn on, things like this. Glow plugs fire, fuel pump kicks on, truck starts fine ect… once it warms up a bit, everything starts working fine. It don’t make any difference if the truck is running or not.
Batteries are about 2 years old and both were replaced at the same time, they are good batteries. Odyssey extreme AGM’s. Wires are less than 2 years old. Homemade out of high strand welding wire and copper lugs soldiered on. All terminals and grounds are clean/tight…
where should I start? No other electrical issues are present.

Someone told me when my windows and radio don't work; it's in the instrument cluster and it needs to be sent off for a $2 fix that we apparently don't have access to. Not sure if this is the same issue you have since you have more going on. Damn gremlins

My 2003 had the dash problem. Easy fix just pull the cluster and resolder the pins on the retained accessory power relay. https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...auge-poll.html

What year truck? The cluster relay problem is only on 02 and 03 models. 99-01 do not have it.

Mine is just very random but they said it shouldn't apply to you. Dang electrical gremlins are the worst. I feel for you but have no other useful info at the moment

Thanks for the link...I guess next time it does it; I will try the smack the dash first or I'll just pull it in a few months and take a look at the solder joints
