I’ve got a 4.9l that is on a municipal leaf vacuum. I need to replace the carb. The carb that is on it now is a DOPF - 9510 J. Are there any carbs that I could plug and play?
It looks like someone messed with the linkage as it is different than the carb on my 81 F100 with a 300.
Not knowing what is wrong with yours maybe just a rebuild / cleaning will fix it?
If a rebuild will not work look on Ebay for a knock off pre 82 carb for a 300 motor.
Anything after that uses a feed back system, computer, and you dont want that carb.
I run one on my truck and other than it running lean, I have a air fuel ratio gauge, it has been working great.
Others have also used the knock off carbs and only 1 had a issue with a little dirt in the carb.

I worked on industrial Ford 300 at the airport, fixed RPM pumps to spray de-ice fluid.
You are not going to find anything similar to the carb in the photo.
Looks like manual choke setup. Most likely a governor attached to the throttle.
Personally I would open it up and look into the possibility of a rebuild.
Otherwise shop online for a older basic carb.
It will be difficult to get the throttle linkage/ governor to hookup with a new carb.
Good luck, Jim
