Holley made carbs where square bore, never seen a spread bore Holley. Motorcraft had a spread bore for 460s. Should be able to put a regular Holley 4 barrel on there. But will need to change the fuel line and a couple other things to make it hookup properly.
If possible, I'd like a part number for AutoZone or oriellys to just order a carb where I don't have to change anything else out. You know stock as possible. Bolt on? I got a buddy who's time is limited and he will help me if I get the right parts and all that. I really appreciate your help. The carb on it is straight trash. Caught on fire and all the good stuff. RV is currently disabled on side of road. I'm disabled and living in it full time. I don't need anything extra or fancy, just something that will work and as easy as possible. I'd pay for help!
I can get it to run but it dies from flooding I believe. The float is stuck perhaps. I can even get it to stay running if I turn the fuel pump on and off before it dies.
It's a big 34' RV . Safari Serengeti. full size. Class a. Ford chassis. Ford 460.
He could rebuild it if he wants. It will probably work good. Might be able to just replace the needle and seat O rings. They tend to shrink and cause flooding.
