ok so i have been to the Motorcraft site to download my calibration file but i can not for some reason figure out what it wants for the file name to download the cal file
part number 2C3FHD
tear tag qlj3
strategy tnaa5n5
if any one has better knowledge for the site let me know perhaps you could help walk me thru but i keep getting file not found error
The Motorcraft site will not allow a download of anything but the latest calibration code for your PCM hardware. The code you're looking for is not the current one.
After doing some digging in your past posts, it appears that your issue initially started with a no-start after a failed programming attempt with an Edge Evolution.
My question is this:
What are you planning on using to reflash the PCM at this point? Without an IDS or pirated FEPS flash device means that you're still dead in the water.

Will be flashing with j2354 pasthru cardaq+ but I cant do that without the cal file and yes tnaa5n5 is the last cal for teartag qlj3 this info was provided thru a non registered simulated connection via ids buy inputing truck vin number
As far as failed edge programing this is a diffrent pcm and about 8 years separation the failed edge programing was due to a malfunction and it programed the wrong stock cal back on truck
The one Ford will send you is a TNAALxx as those came out in 2012 or 2013. Yes, "L"...not a typo. I am not around my tuning computer so I can't tell you the last two digits.

thank you that is more help then the local ford dealer or calling ford corp
when you get a chance if you can get me the rest of that cal code
Since Ford is being stupid with their download website and no longer giving out raw binary like they used to, I can't verify the proper Commie (50-state emission) PCM calibration. However, the .asp files that the website does provide are TNAALN3, N4, and N5. Now, historically, DPC-492 F-Series calibrations have ended with "Nx" suffixes and I can only ASSUME that any of these will be ok. BUT....I claim no responsibility for errors or damages. I don't have an IDS or similar Ford tool so I can't just program and read it either. I have a 49-state calibration saved here but it won't do you any good with your glow plug control module. I also have an Excursion one, but you can't disable PATS. I also don't think a bona-fide J2534 tool will accept raw 216K binary for reflashing.
The internet sucks these days. No free music downloads, all software is cloud-based so you don't get to own anything anymore, and any files you want are encrypted or require special tools to run. BAH HUMBUG.
Hoping for my four XP-based machines and this last Win7 machine to live forever......

It might but why incurr that added expense on a completely stock truck i would just bite the bullet if I had a bunch of parts installed or coming to install on the truck
