I am in the process of putting new front cab mounts on my cab that is currently off the truck.
I’ve looked and I can not find the measurements for the cab.
Does anyone have the measurements for the cab mounts?
I think the distances should be as follows:
between the front cab mounts it is supposed to be roughly 45 1/2”
between the front cab mount and the opposite side rear mount is 65 1/2”
between the seam that is connected to the top of cab mount and the bottom of the cab mount
is supposed to be 9 1/2”
I am having issues with making these measurements work. I have the front drivers side cab mount off and putting a new one in and the mount seems to be shorter than the factory.
My guess is I’ll have to use a significant amount of shims if that’s the case.
does anyone have any diagrams that show measurements on the frame and maybe the cab?
I am not sure as to how perfect they need to be but my paranoid OCD self wants to only do this once and as correct as I can.
