Sounds like your front spring rate is the issue. What does your door jamb sticker say for front axle weight rating? That will tell you what springs are in there. You can step those down one level to the next lower rating using a ford spring, will likely be a lot nicer.

My 5100's seem to ride softer than when I first put them on but maybe Im just getting used to them. I put RC N3's on the back and they seem to ride better than the front but will wait till spring when I take the weight out of the back of my truck to decide about putting N3's on the front.

I'm confused, how does a shock impact ride height when towing? I would think if they were stiff enough to prevent sag that I would not want to hit a manhole cover for fear of my teeth.
