10R140 Question

I have read in an older thread that ForScan lite can be used to reset the Transmission Adaptive Tables. Is this the same as completing the Keep Alive Memory reset (not sure if Forscan can do this)?

Thanks.

Why do you need to reset the adapts?

Forscan can reset the transmission adaptive tables, it also can stop the learning if you wish.

Are the adaptive tables the same thing as the keep alive memory or are they unrelated?
What difference does stopping the learning make? Is it a noticeable difference in driving experience?

THanks,
