That's the positive side...what about the negative cables as they look to be a different diameter, but that could be just the sheathing...

I have bought several sets from them and they are the best I have found.

Well, that one I'll have to double check, but if I was to guess, I'd say those are each 1/0.

The ground cables are shorter and there are 2 of them so they can be smaller. Each cable only has to carry 1/2 as much as the positive cable.

Need to check the battery post diameter too for fitment...

This might be another option for the lugs, but seems like just a hyped up local auto parts stick the cable into the hole and bolt down the nuts on either side until tight, which still leaves it exposed...not as big a deal with AGM batteries, but still.

Found this which might not be too bad, but I'll look at Harbor Freight too. Might could rig up something similar depending on fit...

https://www.amazon.com/AMZCNC-Hammer...s%2C150&sr=8-6

the first two options are a no-go
no way a pair of channel locks can apply enough pressure to crimp any connector, not even #22 wire. it makes a mangled mess.

the 3rd option, the Hammer blow crimper is useful, have used it since the '60s with good success, the appearance is less than what I want though.

those simple battery terminals with only the one bolt, are not good for more than ONCE in my opinion, yeah, people keep using them, but once and they are done in my book...

I go with the military style, or the multi-terminal type.

for the terminals on the 1/0 cables, I use a Hydraulic crimper, mine is from Amazon.. you need a GAS TIGHT connection between the Terminal and the Cable, and cheap crimpers just cannot apply enough force.

The first one is the military style terminals...are you just saying the 2-0 lugs are incorrect? I can't find any definitive answer on factory battery cable size for both positive and negative runs...

I will just give you a picture of mine

Passenger side, Military Terminals
Passenger side, Military Terminals

Drivers side, big multi-terminals.... never have to remove the post off the battery, I leave them alone.
Driver's side, big multi-terminals.... never have to remove the clamp terminal off the battery, I leave it alone.

the reason they look clean, is because I sprayed them with Fluid Film, they will, never, ever, corrode.
they stay wet looking all the time.
