My gasser came with AGM batteries, but it came with 2 batteries and dual alternators as well. Not sure if that has an influence on getting AGM or flooded.

It is.
That's one option I wished my XLT came with also. Good stuff.
If you buy it off the lot, that's not really an option!
(...at least not a cheap one)
I replaced the flooded battery with a Walmart AGM within a month of ownership.
Yes, I meant buying new batt's after delivery. Did not know how the stock AGM's compared in quality to others.
Motorcraft batt's used to be one of the best for years, back in "the day".

I would think an OEM battery would be decent enough that it wouldn't leak 4 months after I bought it. A good flooded battery is, well, a good battery... there is nothing wrong with them, and no reason it shouldn't last 2-3 years before needing replacement.

Agree. My other thought is if you go with stock AGM (over flooded), might be more warrantee friendly, if/when you have any charging or electronic issues..
(and a "crappy" dealer tries to start blaming aftermarket battery).
Here you go Charlie. My truck is a 2024.
This picture is in the section with the wrench. My arrow is on BDY CM and battery monitoring system.
This is what the next selection is.
Here you change to configuration which is the one below the wrench symbol. Go to the plain english one for bdy cm module config
Slew down to this
Then change it here.
thank you so much ! Mines a 24 also! I also added remote
start from the key fob by just adding the oem key fobs with remote start on them! Same frequency 433/434. It works awesome.
