Question Replacement driver's side mirror housing

Hi everyone, new guy checking in! I bought a 2017 F250 Lariat. Today, my mirror was clipped, and it broke the housing at the bottom outside corner, just forward of the puddle light. The replacement prices are ridiculous, but all I need is the rear housing. I have the Powered mirror with power telescoping, power folding, and heated. I'm trying to find a used mirror, like on car-part.com, but have a question about fitment. My mirror has power telescoping and power folding, but can I use the rear housing from a non-power-telescoping and/or non-power-folding mirror? Appreciate your time!

I wouldn't be surprised if you can use that piece from a non powered mirror. Since Ford doesn't sell that part seperate it's hard to determine if it's interchangeable without trying it. Hopefully someone on here has tried and can confirm, but my guess is that it will work, as long as the donar had puddle lights.

Dig into this…some years have the ambient air sensor in the mirror housing.

The ambient air sensor is on the passenger side.

Here is a screenshot from Ford Parts Giant of most of the driver's side mirror part numbers for the 2017 F250. Notice, they all start with HC3Z-17683. Is that enough to assume the housings are all the same?

No, not really, thats pretty typical of Ford part numbers. As far as I can tell visually, the only difference would be puddle lights vs no puddle lights.
