Hey all, I have a 2008 f150 that had a crappy motor and a 06’ with a crappy trans. Both had 4.6 motors. I am currently almost done with putting the 06’ motor into the 08’. Until I hit another bump. I was trying to put the 06’ motor harness (with all the injector, coil, EGR etc plugs on it) and realized that I couldn’t plug it into the cab harness. Then I started to put the 08’ harness onto the motor and then saw I don’t have grounding points for the studs on the front of the 06’ motor. Now to my question. Can I splice the “secondary plug” on the 06’ to the 08’ plug? (Will attach photos.) Maybe I’m being dumb and not knowing if these just don’t go together. Please advise me.
