You can buy any number of H13 LED replacement bulbs and they'll plug in. I've used Beamtech and Hikari off Amazon with good results. Others here have used other brands and were happy with them.
There are myriad old threads on this. Contrary to what some will say, the grille does not have to be removed. I've swapped these out on 6.2 trucks and 7.3 trucks with and without dual batteries. Passenger side requires removing the air breather snorkel. Driver side was much easier removing the filler neck from the washer fluid tank. But in all honesty I can't remember if that went for both engines. I also have never done the swap on a diesel truck because I haven't owned this generation of Super Duty with a diesel.

Hi Poncho, I read several posts of yours over the years recommending Beamtech and Hikari bulbs. I bought 2019 5 years ago but never purchased Beamtech bulbs that everyone on here recommended. Now all those links go nowhere on Amazon. Can you post a link to the same exact bulbs you bought, whether Hikari or Beamtech? I want to buy something that's guaranteed to fit and be reliable.

Thanks so much!
I'm fairly certain that the particular Beamtech that I used have been superseded or possibly even done away with. I found the links for Beamtech H13 that I bought in both 2017 and 2018 and they both link to an HID unit now on Amazon.
Same with Hikari. Any of the bulbs I bought on Amazon in the past are no longer there. As far as Hikari model, I've purchased Ultra and then Hyperstar.
Someone has a set of 2017 factory LED headlights for sale on marketplace. Lariat was totaled. Just trying to find out if the wires are plug and play.
On just the bulb change I have read that they are not the best direction to go. I have never tried because of price.
Nope. There are ballasts, module programming and wiring harness swaps if I remember correctly from the posts of those who have made that swap.
As far as just swapping the bulbs, I've done it in 4 of these trucks. Big improvement. Just make sure to adjust so that oncoming drivers are not blinded. Here are some tips from Headlight Revolution. I've posted this many times.

Thank you, Poncho, for your reply. I figured those Beamtechs everyone was recommending were discontinued, and was hoping that maybe Hikari model you bought is still around.
Would this Beamtech bulb work? It's the right model number - H13/9008, but it does say "fog lights". Is that a problem?

I can't say with 100% certainty but as I recall an H13 has both high and low beam, which is how these trucks were set up. All 4 headlight bulbs contained both high and low beam. Not quite sure why those particular bulbs are noted as fogs. It's been a while but I seem to remember putting H10 LEDs in those trucks to replace the halogen fogs.
You can go to sites that sell LED bulbs, like Super Bright LEDs and they'll usually have a chart specific to your year truck with the correct bulb numbers.

I can't remember the names, but there's a couple of companies that make a harness to convert from halogen to the LED headlights. My truck came with LED but i've seen several threads from guys that did the swap.
Amazon is still showing several Hikari in differing prices. Many say "fog" but they're dual beam so I think they'd be suitable for headlights. I think an H13 is an H13.
Beamtech is still showing several H13 options too.
Whatever you choose make sure that they're an easy twist adjustment to properly orient the LED chips to the 3 and 9 o'clock positions. Stay away from those with a set screw.
I think the variables on these bulbs are lumens and color temperature.

Thank you Poncho, really appreciate your time and willingness to help! I did similar search for Beamtech, Hikari, Auxito, etc. Problem is there are so many choices, and I wasn't sure if H13 is H13 no matter what the description on the package says (fog, off road etc.). Then you read reviews and find many with "loose connection", "flickering", etc. That's why I was hoping to just get something specific that other people with our trucks on this forum found to be guaranteed fit with good results. Is the adjustment type you mention in the description of every bulb?
If you were to buy LED bulbs today for 2019 truck, what would your top 2-3 picks be, based on what you know and having it done multiple times?
