Does anyone know anything about this outfit and their product (egrsolutions.com)? It appears they put a DPF just prior to the EGR cooler. It supposedly self regenerates. The idea is to reduce the amount of soot circulating throughout the system. I’m a little skeptical that it will keep itself clean.
I couldn't get to your mentioned web site. The closest I could find doing a web search is to the FASS product (which has already been installed by @speakerfritz here on the forum.
Here's the link to that thread. Is this the product to which you're referring?

It easily passive regens since temps are north of 800 most of the time.
the truck drives totally different and knowing what I know now if I could only do 1 mod on my truck this would be it.
my egr bolts have been on and off a few times and have nickel anti sieze so removing the egr tube was easy.
this was an easy install with no bloody knuckles.
the filter is about an inch from the radiator fan so engine bay temps were not elevated.
they give you some heat wrap for the alternator cables…aside from that my alternator cable was a little shorter than what I liked and had contact with the out side of the egr filter…so I had to extend my alternator cable at the battery with a bus bar to give me clearance.

wow. That’s a strong endorsement. When I saw this it struck me as a great idea…if it would work. Sounds like it does. You mentioned your truck drives differently. More power? Smoother? Just curious.
my acceleration spin ups are very smooth...the engine sounds more mechanically defined at idle...my boost spin ups seem faster
also..I bought mine ...I wasnt sent one to review and endorse.
also....last year FASS had a 200 dollar rebate if you posted up about the filter on social media....I didnt get that....so my reports are purely uninfluenced.
If they ever get around to producing a version of this for the 2020+ models, I might consider getting one. The only pain point is the price, they're mighty proud of it, that's for sure!
Did you notice your engine oil looking cleaner on the dipstick?
I was curious about that claim
my thought is it’s going to take a couple of oil and filter changes to clear out what is in my engine now before I will notice if the filter stoping 85% of soot from being sent into the intake will have any visible color change of the engine oil.
im approaching the first oil change since the filter install.

I contacted FASS about the 20+ units. Still not released yet. No eta provided
