f550 FUEL ISSUE
I have a 2008 F550 with a 6.8 v-10 and fuel tank behind the rear differential. It is not getting gas and will only start with starting fluid.
My questions are;
Should I hear the fuel pump run when the key is turned on?
I've disconnected the fuel line that feeds the fuel filter on the frame rail and turned the key on, should fuel pump out? (The line is bone dry inside.)
The electrical connector to the pump/sending unit/etc. is an 8 position connector with only 7 positions being used. Only one of the pins coming from the front of the vehicle show power when the key is turned on. Is this normal?

I did check the inertia switch and it has not been tripped.
