4R100 Cooler Pressure

What’s the normal operating PRESSURE in the COOLER ?

Looking at this chart, you better have lines and fittings that can handle 250 psi or more... and that is just operating pressures.

I’m pretty sure line pressure is not the cooler pressure .. The bypass should open at 70

And what does that have to do with cooler pressure? Line pressure does NOT run through the coolers.

Cooler pressure is around 30-60 PSI.

it has to do with misconstruing what he was asking about...
I was thinking that the pump pressures were on the lines to the cooler, and they aren't as it dumps back into the pan free flow.

The reason I was asking about this is .. Because I see posts using all sorts of High Pressure JIC, inverted flare, etc. Fittings & Hoses for Transmission Cooler installations where pressure shouldn’t exceed 75-80psi…🤷‍♂️
